The International Course at ChampionsGate Golf Club offers a golfing experience unlike any other in Orlando. A links-style course more reminiscent of the British Isles or a “Down Under” coastal course from designer Greg Norman’s homeland, the sprawling greens and wind-swept dunes present a raw and majestic Florida golfing experience that is a must-play for those visiting the Orlando area. Big hitters can delight in the ample, enticing fairways, but don’t let the wide-open spaces lull you into a sense of false confidence – the steady wind, pot bunkers lined with thick Bermuda grass, and firm, fast fairways present exciting challenges to golfers of all skill levels. With 18 of the most dramatic holes in the state, the strategy is key to conquering the International, consistently ranked among the top resort courses in the country.
INTERNATIONAL GOLF COURSE 18 Holes / Par 72
Recent renovations to the International Course have yielded improved playing conditions with a complete restoration of 18 greens and all green-side bunker complexes to the original size, look and feel. Greens were restored with Champion Bermuda replacing the original Floradwarf turf.
Green surrounds and par three tees surfaces were replaced with 419 Bermuda replacing the original Paspalum turf. Both changes will allow for firmer, faster-playing conditions, more year-round consistency, more tolerance in colder temperatures, able to produce exceptional quality and playing conditions for years to come.
Picking up over 42,000 sq. ft. of greens surface will allow several new pin positions to test players of all skill levels. A number of fairway bunkers were also removed for this rejuvenation project to allow for cleaner sight lines off the tee. The International Course still boasts a raw design of a rustic “down under” style of a coastal links course from Greg Norman’s homeland, but with new turf surfaces that will allow conditions to be firm and fast for longer drives and will provide more challenging putting experiences on larger more undulating greens.
The International Course was recently ranked no. 9 in the top overall ranked courses by GOLF Advisor. The 7,363-yard links-style International Course is home to sprawling greens and wind-swept dunes, featuring 18 of the state’s most dramatic and challenging holes.

The course will be closed for scheduled maintenance on November 8-11, 2021
The course will be open, cart path only from November 12-December 2, 2021
During the closure, the National Course will be available for tee times.
NATIONAL GOLF COURSE 18 Holes / Par 72
With its traditional American-style design, the National Course at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate challenges golfers through 18 holes that wind through 200 acres of secluded woodlands, wetlands, and former orange groves.
The golf course features gently sweeping fairways, 80 sculpted bunkers, greens maintained in tour condition, clever doglegs, and scenic water hazards. Water comes into play on many holes, but few forced carries mean that all levels of players can maneuver this layout. The sharply framed golf holes end up on smaller greens, making it a shot-maker’s delight.
